அருளைப் பெரிதாகக்கருதி அன்பு உடையவராய் நடத்தல், பிறருடைய பொருளைக்கவர எண்ணி அவர் சோர்ந்திருக்கும் நிலையைப் பார்ப்பவரிடத்தில் இல்லை.
அடுத்தவர் பொருளைத் திருட எண்ணி, அவர் தளரும் நேரத்தை எதிர்பார்த்து இருப்போர், அருள் மீது பற்று உள்ளவராய் வாழ முடியாது.

எள்ளாமை வேண்டுவான் என்பான் எனைத்தொன்றும்
Let him who would reproachless be From all frauds guard his conscience free
